Guest Ratings & Reviews
The hotel was conveniently located between downstate and Marquette MI, making it a suitable stopover. The rooms were spacious enough to accommodate our family comfortably, but the proximity of the wall-mounted devices was disruptive throughout the night. The service was exceptional, with staff members going out of their way to assist us with our bonfire. The location, though not close to many attractions, worked well for our family setup. The dining options, especially the breakfast selection, were abundant and delicious. Overall, a decent choice considering the value for money.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were in the process of being updated, which would have been no big deal normally. They were a bit dated, but with new furnishings, they were quite cozy. The service was top-notch; the staff took the time out of their schedule to get to know us and were extremely helpful. The location was between downstate and Marquette MI, which worked well for our snowmobile trip. However, it was not close to many attractions. The dining was a highlight with a delicious home-cooked breakfast. The facilities were good overall.
The hotel had a cozy cabin-like feel to it, and while the rooms were comfortable, they were located near noisy wall-mounted units that could be felt and heard throughout the night. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful, making the service top-notch. The location was convenient for our family setup but not close to many attractions. The dining options were varied and delicious, but available for a limited time. The facilities were adequate, though there were some noise issues from neighboring rooms.
